Om Frances:
”Hey! My name is Frances and I am a British musician who has been playing trumpet for over a decade. I have been living in Denmark to study at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus. I am excited to meet some new students who I can share the joy of trumpet playing with.
My previous musical education in Britain includes studying at the Junior Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and at Chetham’s School of Music with some of Britain’s best trumpet players. I graduated from Chetham’s with dipABRSM and LRSM diplomas in trumpet performance.
Over the years I have participated in music festivals, concerts and competitions across Europe and Australia. I have also participated in masterclasses with many of the world’s foremost trumpet players whose advice I like to pass on through my teaching.”
Om undervisningen:
”In my teaching I like to create a patient and positive environment for students of all ages and standards to learn in. Teaching will be tailored to each individual student. I will focus on building a solid technical foundation whilst exploring genres of music and repertoire which is of most interest to each student.
Lessons will take place in English so will double as a great opportunity to practice talking with a native speaker as well.
Teaching will be tailored to individual students. The teaching will begin by focusing on students learning to read music and find their way around the instrument and as students progress we will explore different genres of music from baroque and classical through to jazz while continuing technical development through work on sight reading, studies and scales.
