About Kacper
My name is Kacper Skolik. I come from Poland and I love playing and teaching drums.
I just started my master degree studies in Odense at SDMK in a jazz department, and i finished my bachelor and master degree in Gdańsk, Poland, in the field of jazz and stage music, at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy.
My main specialization is jazz and latin music, but I don’t have any problems with playing pop, rock or other genres, and I also have experience playing in Jazz Big Bands. I’m always up to anyone who is interested in starting playing the drums.
I have a lot of experience in playing live, reading sheet music and I’m familiar with any stage situation.
About teaching
My main goal in teaching is to give the student the opportunity to feel how much fun playing on instrument can be, and I’m always focused on being reliable in what I’m trying to explain. To show all the exercises slowly and with patience.
First lesson
On the first lesson I’m always focused on what, exactly, my student has to say. I’m listening with patience, and I’m trying to make the student feel as comfortable as I can.
For me the most important thing is to focus on that what my student would like to play.
