About Ronan
Hi! My name is Ronan and I am a woodwind and piano teacher from UK. I teach saxophone, clarinet, flute, piano, ensembles, music theory and composition.
I have been teaching for fifteen years and my teaching style is friendly, personal and based around aims and goals we come up with together in our lessons. My experiences include working as visiting faculty at Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory in Nepal and designing and delivering curriculums for Britten Pears Arts in the UK.
I have a degree in performance from the Royal Academy of Music in London, an LRAM teaching diploma, a graduate certificate in counselling from Goldsmiths university and am currently studying for a masters in Music Education at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.
As a performer I’ve appeared on around twenty albums including six of my own and have toured the world many times over.
About the lessons
When we first meet we can discuss where you are, where you want to go and if you have any previous experience. We can also agree on the style, method and format of learning we could start with. I believe every student has their own unique way of learning and my aim is to find a way of working together which facilitates your personal path towards musical growth.
I would love the opportunity to teach you, please feel free to get in touch!
